Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Traitements Esthétiques (TE Clinic). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Traitements Esthétiques (TE Clinic). By using our website, booking appointments, or receiving treatments, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these terms. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice, and continued use of the website following any changes will constitute acceptance of those changes.

2. Use of Website

This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate bookings for aesthetic treatments. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the website by any third party. Prohibited behaviour includes unauthorised access, transmission of harmful code, or any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the website.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is the property of TE Clinic or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

4. Medical Treatments and Consultations

All treatments are provided by qualified and insured medical aesthetic practitioners. A full consultation and medical assessment are required before any treatment can be carried out. The practitioner reserves the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsuitable, unsafe, or medically inappropriate. Treatment outcomes vary from person to person, and TE Clinic does not guarantee specific results.

Clients must be aged 18 years or over to receive treatments. Proof of age may be required. It is the client's responsibility to disclose all relevant medical history, medications, allergies, and health conditions during consultation. Failure to provide accurate information may result in refusal of treatment or complications for which TE Clinic cannot be held liable.

5. Booking and Payments

Appointments are confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit payment. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to an alternative date or treatment if at least 48 hours' notice is given. The remaining balance is due on the day of the appointment and can be paid by cash, card, or other accepted payment methods. All prices are subject to change without notice. Promotional offers and discounts cannot be combined unless otherwise stated and are valid only during the specified promotional period.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice, or failure to attend an appointment (no-show), will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may result in a shortened appointment or rescheduling at the practitioner's discretion, with potential loss of deposit. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require full prepayment for future bookings.

7. Refund Policy

All treatments and products sold are non-refundable once provided or administered. Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with aesthetic outcomes, as results are subjective and vary between individuals. In exceptional circumstances, such as treatment error or proven adverse reactions caused by practitioner negligence, refunds or compensation may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

8. Aftercare and Liability

All clients will receive detailed aftercare instructions following treatment. It is the client's responsibility to follow these instructions carefully to minimise risk and achieve optimal results. TE Clinic accepts no liability for complications, adverse reactions, or unsatisfactory outcomes arising from failure to follow pre-treatment or aftercare advice. All practitioners are fully insured under UK medical aesthetics indemnity insurance. Clients are advised to contact the clinic immediately if any unusual symptoms or concerns arise following treatment.

9. Photography and Marketing Consent

Before and after photographs may be taken for clinical record purposes. Separate written consent will be obtained if these images are to be used for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes. Clients have the right to withdraw marketing consent at any time by providing written notice, although images already published may not be immediately removable from all platforms.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

TE Clinic is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. All personal and medical information is stored securely and used only for the purposes of providing safe and effective treatments, managing bookings, and complying with legal obligations. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

You acknowledge and agree that TE Clinic shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any such third-party content or services.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TE Clinic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the website or services. Our liability for any claims arising from treatment will be limited to the amount paid for the specific treatment in question.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TE Clinic, its directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the website or services, your breach of these Terms and Conditions, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Force Majeure

TE Clinic shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic or epidemic, government restrictions, strikes, or system failures.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely reflects the intent of the original provision.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the website or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
