Chin & Jawline
Fillers

Enhance definition, balance facial proportions and refine your profile

Strategic placement of HA filler along the chin and mandibular (jawline) border can add projection, sharpen angles, smooth pre-jowl dips and create a cleaner separation between face and neck. This non-surgical approach restores structure lost with age or amplifies features you naturally have, keeping results soft and in proportion.

At TE Clinic South London (Traitements Esthetiques), our chin and jawline filler treatments use premium hyaluronic acid (HA) gels to enhance definition, balance facial proportions and refine your profile, always with a natural, harmonised finish. We’re based in Crystal Palace and we welcome clients from all over South London and beyond, including Dulwich, Bromley, Croydon, Norwood, Chislehurst, Beckenham and surrounding areas.

The Treatment Process

  1. We assess your facial structure, goals and medical history; photography may assist mapping.
  2. Topical numbing and gentle technique to maximise comfort.
  3. HA filler is placed with a fine needle and/or micro-cannula to build lift and contour safely. Chin projection is built in layers to avoid over-correction; jawline definition is created using a linear threading technique along the mandibular border.
  4. We check symmetry in rest and expression, then share tailored aftercare.
  5. An optional follow-up ensures you’re happy and allows for minor tweaks if needed.

Aftercare

  • Expect mild swelling, tenderness or bruising for 24–72 hours.
  • Use cool compresses intermittently on day one.
  • Avoid makeup over treated areas for 24 hours; keep skin clean.
  • Skip alcohol, strenuous exercise, saunas/steam for 24–48 hours.
  • Do not massage the cheeks unless advised; sleep slightly elevated the first night.
  • Avoid facials and dental procedures for ~2 weeks where possible.
  • Contact the clinic urgently if you experience increasing pain, blanching, mottling or any symptoms that worry you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the potential side effects?

Mild swelling or firmness along the jaw and chin is common for 24–72 hours and the area may temporarily feel harder than expected — this softens as the filler integrates. Small surface lumps in the first week usually resolve naturally. The chin and jaw sit near important vascular structures; we use a cannula approach where appropriate and carry hyaluronidase for emergency dissolving. Less commonly: infection, prolonged swelling, delayed nodules. Vascular occlusion is rare but taken seriously.

How long do chin and jawline fillers last?

Typically 9–18 months, depending on product choice, placement, metabolism and lifestyle. Many clients prefer small maintenance top-ups to keep definition consistent.

Will it look too sharp or masculine/feminine?

Your plan is bespoke. We can create ultra-subtle refinement or bolder angles, guided by your features and preferences to achieve a natural result that fits your face.
