Create gentle lift, and refine facial contour
Cheek fillers replenish age related volume loss and enhance cheek shape without surgery. By placing HA filler strategically along the cheekbones and mid-face, we improve lift, definition and balance, helping soften nasolabial shadows and refresh overall proportions.
At TE Clinic South London (Traitements Esthetiques), our cheek enhancement treatments use premium hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers to restore midface support, create gentle lift, and refine facial contour, always with a natural finish. Based in Crystal Palace, we welcome clients from all over South London and beyond, including Dulwich, Bromley, Croydon, Norwood, Chislehurst, Beckenham and surrounding areas.

Ideal candidates
You may be an ideal candidate if you’ve noticed cheek flattening or mid-face volume loss, your makeup no longer sits smoothly or folds beside the nose are deepening, and you want more cheekbone definition without an overfilled look. Cheek filler reduces the appearance of jowls. You should be in good general health and have realistic expectations for soft, natural-looking results.
Cheek enhancement (HA filler) from £210 per 1 ml, as per our Pabau booking for cheeks, chin & jawline. In-clinic consultation £10 (redeemable against treatment). Exact volume confirmed at consultation.

- Topical numbing and gentle technique to maximise comfort.
- HA filler is placed with a fine needle and/or micro-cannula to build lift and contour safely. For mid-face placement we commonly use a cannula entry point at the lateral cheek to minimise bruising and allow precise bolus placement along the zygomatic arch.
- We check symmetry in rest and expression, then share tailored aftercare.
- An optional follow-up ensures you’re happy and allows for minor tweaks if needed.
Aftercare- Expect mild swelling, tenderness or bruising for 24–72 hours.
- Use cool compresses intermittently on day one.
- Avoid makeup over treated areas for 24 hours; keep skin clean.
- Skip alcohol, strenuous exercise, saunas/steam for 24–48 hours.
- Do not massage the cheeks unless advised; sleep slightly elevated the first night.
- Avoid facials and dental procedures for ~2 weeks where possible.
- Contact the clinic urgently if you experience increasing pain, blanching, mottling or any symptoms that worry you.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the potential side effects?
Swelling in the mid-face can be more pronounced than other areas due to tissue laxity, and may take 3–5 days to fully settle. Mild asymmetry in the first week is normal as swelling resolves unevenly. We always assess cheekbone anatomy carefully before treatment to avoid an overfilled or wide appearance. Less commonly: infection, prolonged swelling, or delayed nodules. Vascular occlusion is rare but taken seriously — hyaluronidase (dissolving enzyme) is held on-site at all times.
How long do results last?
Typically 9–18 months, depending on product, placement, metabolism and lifestyle. Many clients prefer small maintenance top ups to keep results consistent.
Will cheek filler make my face look wider?
No, our approach emphasises vertical lift and proportion, not bulk. Product is placed to enhance the cheekbone and mid-face support, maintaining a refined, natural contour.
