Profhilo

Deep hydration, improved firmness and a healthy glow

At TE Clinic South London (Traitements Esthetiques), Profhilo® is our go-to skin bioremodelling treatment for deep hydration, improved firmness and a healthy glow, without adding bulk. We’re based in Crystal Palace and welcome clients from all over South London and beyond, including Dulwich, Bromley, Croydon, Norwood, Chislehurst, Beckenham and surrounding areas.

Profhilo is an ultra pure hyaluronic acid treatment that spreads evenly within the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin, enhancing skin quality rather than volume. Profhilo is a CE-marked, extensively studied injectable bio-remodeller manufactured under strict quality standards and used worldwide for skin laxity and quality — your clinician will confirm it is appropriate for your concerns.

A standard course involves two sessions, four weeks apart, with best results typically seen after the second treatment.

Benefits

  • Intense hydration & radiance for a fresher, dewier look.
  • Firmer, bouncier skin with improved elasticity over time.
  • Refined texture & tone, softens the look of fine lines and crepiness.
  • No “filled” look, works on skin quality rather than adding structure.

Ideal candidates

You may be suitable if overall skin laxity, crepiness or “tired” skin quality is your main concern rather than adding volume to a specific feature. Profhilo’s high-dose hyaluronic acid is designed to spread for tissue bio-remodelling across broader areas such as the face and neck. If your priority is fibroblast stimulation with an amino-acid rich biorevitaliser in a course of closer-spaced sessions, your clinician may suggest Jalupro Classic instead — suitability is always confirmed in consultation.

Profhilo from £210 per session (online booking). In-clinic consultation £10 (redeemable against treatment). Exact pricing confirmed at consultation.

The Treatment Process

  1. Skin assessment, medical history and a tailored plan (usually 2 sessions, 4 weeks apart).
  2. Treatment mapping, for the face we commonly use the BAP technique (five precise points per side) to maximise diffusion and comfort.
  3. Profhilo injections are a series of small injections; treatment usually takes around 30 minutes.
  4. Soothing products applied; SPF advice and home-care guidance provided.

Aftercare

  • Mild redness or small bumps at injection points can occur for 24–48 hours.
  • Avoid makeup on treated areas for 24 hours; keep skin clean and moisturised.
  • Skip strenuous exercise, heat (sauna/steam), swimming and alcohol for 24–48 hours.
  • Do not massage treated areas; sleep slightly elevated the first night.
  • Daily SPF 30–50 is essential.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the potential side effects?

Common: temporary redness, swelling, pinpoint bumps, tenderness or bruising. Less common: headache. Rare: infection or allergic reaction. Your clinician will discuss risks and how we minimise them.

How many sessions will I need and when will I see results?

Most clients have two sessions, four weeks apart. Skin often looks fresher within 1–2 weeks, with best results around 4–6 weeks after session two. Maintenance is typically advised a few times per year, based on your goals.

Is Profhilo a filler and will it make me look “puffy”?

No, Profhilo is designed to improve skin quality (hydration, firmness, elasticity) rather than add shape or structure, so results look natural and not volumised. It can be combined with other treatments (e.g., anti-wrinkle injections or fillers) in a personalised plan if suitable.
