Medical-grade microneedling treatment at TE Clinic Crystal Palace South London

Microneedling

Smoother texture, refined pores and a fresher glow

At TE Clinic South London (Traitements Esthetiques), our medical-grade microneedling stimulates your skin’s natural collagen for smoother texture, refined pores and a fresher glow, without surgery. Based in Crystal Palace, we welcome clients from all over South London and beyond, including Dulwich, Bromley, Croydon, Norwood, Chislehurst, Beckenham and surrounding areas.

Microneedling (collagen induction therapy) uses a sterile, single-use needle cartridge to create controlled micro-channels at precise depths. This prompts a natural healing cascade that boosts collagen and elastin, improving tone, texture and the look of fine lines, mild acne scarring and enlarged pores, all with minimal downtime.

Benefits

  • Smoother texture & refined pores
  • Softens fine lines & mild acne scars
  • Evens tone & boosts radiance
  • Supports firmer, bouncier skin over time
  • Minimal downtime with results building across a short course (typically 3–6 sessions)

Ideal candidates

You may be a good candidate if you want to improve skin texture, early lines, uneven tone or post-acne marks and prefer a natural collagen-stimulating approach. Suitability is assessed in consultation, particularly if you’re pregnant, have active acne/eczema/psoriasis, a history of keloids, recent isotretinoin use, or frequent cold sores.

Microneedling: see our online booking for current session pricing. Consultation £10 (redeemable against treatment).

  4. Duration: Treatment typically takes 30-45 minutes depending on area size
  5. Recovery: Mild redness and swelling for 24-48 hours
  6. Review & course: Results build gradually; most clients choose 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the potential side effects?

Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling, tightness, dryness, mild bruising, or flaking. Less common include acne breakouts, cold-sore reactivation (if prone), post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (risk increases with sun exposure). Rare side effects are infection or scarring. Our medical team follows strict hygiene and treatment protocols and will advise you if anything needs attention.

How many sessions will I need, and when will I see results?

Most clients benefit from 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Skin often looks fresher within 7–10 days, with collagen improvements continuing for 6–12 weeks after each session.

Is microneedling suitable for darker skin tones?

Yes, when performed correctly, microneedling can be suitable across a wide range of skin tones. We tailor needle depth, technique and aftercare to minimise downtime and reduce the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation. Consistent SPF is key.
